We are pleased to present the Atlas of Educational Marketing Practices in the Agri-Food Sector, one of the key outputs of the AgriXplainer project. Its aim is to provide farmers, small food producers, and VET trainers with a practical tool to improve communication with the market, customers, and local communities.
What is the purpose of the Atlas?
The Atlas was created to:
-
collect and systematise best practices in educational marketing across Europe,
-
show how even small farms and microenterprises can apply modern communication strategies,
-
support sustainability, ethics, and inclusion in marketing,
-
introduce topics such as green and ethical labelling, equal opportunities, and visual communication in practice.
What does it contain?
The Atlas offers:
-
an overview of 70 selected educational marketing practices,
-
detailed step-by-step descriptions that can be replicated by small businesses,
-
examples from different countries demonstrating that great results can be achieved even with limited resources,
-
guidelines on how to involve consumers, communities, and schools in supporting local food and sustainable diets.
How does it benefit target groups?
-
Farmers and microenterprises gain concrete ideas to build trust and communicate the quality of their products more effectively.
-
Educators and VET trainers receive ready-to-use teaching material based on real-life case studies.
-
Policy makers and development organisations are provided with clear evidence of how educational marketing can support rural sustainability.
The Atlas is designed as a practical guide – not only theory, but above all a source of inspiration and concrete solutions. We believe it will strengthen the competitiveness of small producers, bring them closer to their customers, and contribute to inclusive and sustainable agri-food development across Europe.
